Wonderwall is a wall mounted kinetic installation which aims to reduce stress and increase creativity. The piece was conceived as part of NEON’s research into the role of architecture in creating the best possible mindset for learning. The artwork abstracts the movement often found in meadows, forests and oceans in the hope that it can evoke similar conditions for the mind to drift and new ideas to emerge. The artwork is composed of 1800 counter weighted components constructed of incredibly thin Finnish plywood.
